Just two days after backers of Chick-fil-A showed their support for company President Dan Cathy and his outspoken stand against same-sex marriage by converging on locations across the country (and, according to NPR.org, setting a one-day sales record), gay rights activists are responding today with a little activism of their own.

Pucker up, Honey.

That's right, it's "National Same-Sex Kiss Day" today, and those who support gay rights plan on smooching their loved ones outside Chick-fil-A's all over the U.S.A. and posting photos on Tumbler, the National Same Sex Kiss Day Facebook page, and other social media sites.

Organizers had this to say:

"Let's show Chick-fil-A that everyone deserves to be able to fall in love, start a family, and take their children to eat fried chicken after a soccer match."

There are 23 Chick-fil-A locations in Arizona (17 in the Phoenix area). To find the one closest to you, go here.
