Pizza for the Pets
Don't worry about dinner tonight, you're going to Grimaldi's. The Scottsdale pizzeria has teamed up with the Phoenix Animal Care Coalition to help raise money for PACC911 Emergency Medical Fund which helps provide financial aid to animal welfare groups around the Valley for homeless and injured pets medical needs. From 5 to 9 p.m. tonight, join Grimaldi's for "Pizza for the Pets". Enjoy coal-fired pizza, salad, dessert and wine and beer for $35 per person or skip the booze and pay just $25 per person. All proceeds will be donated to PACC911. No reservations needed, just show up hungry! Click here to learn more about PACC911 or call 602-228-1832 for further details.

Phyllo Pie
Who needs pie crust when you have phyllo? Our third pie of the week comes from one of our new favorite blogs, Anger Burger. She makes a lot of pies but this particular pie skips the pesky task of making crust and utilizes phyllo dough. Just fill your pie plate with pie innards and top with phyllo strips. Genius!  Check it out here and then leave her blog immediately unless you have a few hours to spend reading.
