Think Pink
October isn't over yet, which means there is still time to hit up these local eating and drinking spots to pitch in your donation to breast cancer research. (Come on, it's more fun to donate via cocktails than marathon running -- not that we don't appreciate the folks that do. We don't know what we would do with out them.)

Scottsdale's Roka Akor has turned "pink" for the entire month of October. The upscale sushi restaurant has swapped out their boring white entry lights for a more festive pink and their drink menu has taken on the same hue with six pink additions. Sip on a glass of pink champagne, a pink mojito or margarita, or a beautiful glass of rose wine.

Valley favorite RA Sushi will be offering a special wine and sushi roll for the month of October. Every time you order the ONEHOPE wine and a Pink Roll combo, RA will donate 100 percent of the proceeds to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. For $15 you'll get a glass of ONEHOPE's California Chardonnay and the featured roll, which combines shrimp, crab mix, sriracha, lettuce, avocado and cucumber all wrapped up in a pretty piece of pink soy paper

Arcadia's Kitchen 56 is serving up luscious Pink Panther Cocktails and bottles of the ONEHOPE Chardonnay. The Pink Panther takes cocktails to a new level with Pearl Blueberry Vodka, lemonade, and fresh wild Maine Blueberries. A portion of the proceeds from each drink will be also be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, the charity of choice of one of Kitchen 56's regular patrons who is currently fighting the disease.

Spicy Cheese Bread
Add a spicy kick to your grilled cheese or turkey sandwich with a loaf of cheesy cheddar bread with a spicy Sriracha swirl.  If you love "rooster" sauce as much as we do then your going to want to check out this recipe from The Curvy Carrot
