Triyar Entertainment Group, the folks behind popular local spots such as Maya Day + Nightclub and W Scottsdale, have opened a new dining, drinking, and partying concept in the heart of Scottsdale's entertainment district.
Called Dakota, the new restaurant/bar is located at 7301 East Indian Plaza and aims to be a "California bistro-style restaurant" that transitions into a bar and party spot at night.

The 4,500-square-foot restaurant will open at 7 a.m. for breakfast daily and will serve food -- including lunch and dinner -- until 10 p.m. Look for a menu that highlights local and organic food. Guest staying at the W Scottsdale will be able to charge food to their room.
The restaurant also include a grab-and-go cafe concept called Comoncy, which will serve food and drinks for customers of the go. Expect a full coffee bar, espresso machine, cold pressed coffee on tap, teas, juice, and smoothies. Pastries, sandwiches, salads, beer, and wine will also be available. Comoncy will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
At night, Dakota will transform into another party spot with live DJs, LED lights, and bottle service. The bar will stay open until 2 a.m.
The new concept's design includes elements such as white-washed wood, window shutters, ivy greenery, and birdcage lighting meant to create a traditional and elegant vibe.The restaurant and bar also offers a large street-front patio with lounge seating, gas lamps, greenery, and fire pits.
