Summertime at Kitchen 56

While some restaurants are going on summer break, Kitchen 56 is kicking it into high gear with some great deals on food and drinks. During happy hour, no longer are you chained to the bar area for cheap drinks. You can now sit wherever you like and still enjoy the deals. From 3 to 6 p.m., score $1 off drafts, $2 off glasses of wine and $5 specialty cocktails. They have also added $5 small plates to the H.H. menu. Fish & chips, quesadillas, garlic cilantro wings and more. If lunch is more you're thing , they are also offering a $5 special each day. Check out the Kitchen's Facebook page for the daily special.

Strawberry Sweet Tart

Strawberries aren't going to be in season forever and don't' even get us started on trying to find rhubarb in December. You better get your hands on them now while they are sweet and cheap. And then you should make this beautiful tart. It's so simple to make, you're cat could probably do it.
