The holidays may be over, but wasting your time on the Internet sure as hell isn't. Which is why we're pleased to inform you that some favorite old-school video games (and we really do mean old) are now available on your web browser. Adios, productivity.

The Console Living Room is a free collection of video games presented by the Internet Archive. Using the most updated version of a web browser, users can download and play some of the most popular games from such vintage gaming systems as Atari 2600, Atari 7800 ProSystem, ColecoVision, Magnavox Odyssey², and Astrocade.

While the games currently don't have sound (they're working on it), playing them does not require changing the settings, adding plugins, or any of that other crap that brings you crawling back to IT.

Some of our favorite games available now on the Console Living Room include: Galaga, Frogger, Asteroids, Pac-Man, and Donkey Kong. For a full list of cartridges and games, plus instructions on how to get them, visit the Internet Archive.
