It's that time of year again. Time for things to get a little bit, well, chaotic.
On Tuesday, September 23, artist Randy Slacks announced the return of his annual collaborative exhibition, "Chaos Theory," at Legend City Studios. Now in its 15th year, "Chaos Theory" and grown from group exhibition to downtown art tradition. And we expect most of the Phoenix arts scene can't help but get a little giddy as this lineup of fresh faces and familiar standbys.

This year's exhibition will feature the work of 68 artists including Steven Hofberger, Thomas Breeze Marcus, Jason Grubb, Brent Bond, Joe Willie Smith, Emmett Potter, Brian Boner, Lauren Strohacker, David Dauncey, Bill Dambrova, Lara Plecas, Carolyn Lavender, Sergio Aguirre, JB Snyder, Yai Cecream, Cindy Dach, Danielle Hacche, Larry Valencia Madrigal, Melissa Martinez, Henry Leo Schoebel, Lori Fenn, Tara Logsdon, Mykil Zep, Kenneth Richardson, Yuko Yabuki, Mike Prepsky, Brandon Sullivan, Ruben Gonzales, Gennaro Garcia, James Angel, Abbey Messmer, Michael Carson, Kristin Bauer, Rachel Bess, Rick Toerne, Joshy Rhodes, Kendra Sollars, Christina Ramirez, Colton Brock, Greg Esser, Brooke Grucella, Steven J. Yazzie, Larry Willis, Shauna Thibault, John Randall Nelson, Pete Deise, Mike Little, Jon Balinkie, Steve Gompf, Case Beer, Colin Chillag, Ben Willis, Carrie Marill, Ashley Macias, Andrew Brown, and Hector Gregorio Ruiz.
With such a large number of participating artists, some works will be presented outside of the building, including a video installation by Kendra Sollars and Lauren Strohacker.
"Chaos Theory 15" will be open from 6 p.m. to midnight on Friday, October 3, and again from 6 to 10 p.m. on Friday, October 17. The First Friday opening reception will feature live music from Somber Sides and Cherie Cherie. More details will be announced as the date approaches.
