Hell City? Hell yes.

One of Phoenix's most popular body art expos is returning to the Arizona Biltmore Resort and Spa, Friday, August 15, through Sunday, August 17, for an all-inclusive weekend of ink, piercings, and perhaps a few other forms of body modification you didn't even know were possible.

This year's Hell City Tattoo Fest will feature all forms of body art expressionism including tattoo competitions and art galleries, performing musical acts, art fusion experiments, plus live tattooing, painting, and freakshows (body suspension, anyone?).

In addition to the colorful sights, visitors will also have the opportunity to add some new ink to themselves with local and out-of-state tattoo artists both up-and-coming and nationally renowned. Featured artists include Ryan Hadley of Revolution Tattoo in Indiana, Josh Duffy of Timeline Gallery in California, Tommy Helm of Empire State Tattoo in New York, Matt Stines of No Regrets Tattoo in Illinois, Mario Sanchez of StarCrest Tattoo in Texas, and Ram Lee of Ram Lee Tattoo in Ohio.

For those looking to polish up their minds as well as their bodies, Hell City will also offer educational seminars on topics such as "Bloodborne Pathogens," "Biochem Tattoo Construction," "Dynamic Light and Shadow," "Building A Great Tattoo Business," "Fundamentals Of Realistic Painting & Tattooing," and "Painting A Monster In Oils."

Advanced ticket prices are $22 for a single day, $42 for two days, and $62 for a weekend pass. Admission prices increase by $3 at the door. To sign up for a seminar, book an appointment with a tattoo artist, or purchase tickets, visit www.hellcity.com.
