Handmade Riot is known for creating furnishings, toys, and oddities, while making it a priority in using reclaimed materials using inspiration from its surroundings, i.e. the historic homes in and around downtown Phoenix. You can find the company's offerings at Frances, GROWop, and MADE Art Boutique.
In honor of Handmade Riot's first birthday, the self-dubbed "makers, creators, and shape shifters" behind the company, Nicole Whittington and James Waldron, will host an art show featuring some of their favorite artists. On the show's roster are Breeze Marcus, Niki Rose Noriega, Sammy Black, Sarah Hurwitz, Spencer Hibert, and Tedd Roundy.
The opening reception kicks off at 7 p.m. For more information, see Handmade Riot's Facebook page.
