Jackalope Ranch Presents Bingo with National Comedy Theatre Phoenix Saving money is a numbers game, and we can think of no better practice than free Jackalope Ranch Bingo on Wednesday, February 26, at Crescent Ballroom. Hosted by National Comedy Theatre Phoenix, this event will offer laughs, liquor, and prizes. Bingo will kick off at 7 p.m. and run in 45-minute increments, followed by 15-minute breaks, until 10 p.m. Visit Jackalope Ranch Bingo on Facebook to let everyone know you're coming.
"Inherit the Earth: Art, Activism, and the Land" From 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 27, Frontal Lobe Community Space and Gallery will host the opening reception for "Inherit the Earth: Art, Activism, and the Land." This group art show, which coincides with the Heard Museum Guild Indian Fair, will explore a variety of environmental issues and showcase a number of Native American artists and activists, including Julius Badoni, Kelly Church, John Hagen, Randy Kemp, Linda Lomahaftewa, Lydia Maldonado, Jacob Meders, Melissa Melero, America Meredith Art, Dylan Miner, Jerrel Singer, Glory Tacheenie-Campoy, Bobby Wilson, and Steven J. Art Intersection Presents "Printing Out Paper" with Siegfried Rempel
From 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Friday. February 28, Art Intersection will host "Printing Out Paper." This free lecture, led by author and photographer Siegfried Rempel, will touch on the history and process of hand coating paper in print photography and conclude with a demo to illustrate how this process can be recreated in a modern-day studio. The "Printing Out Paper" lecture is meant to serve as an introduction to Art Intersection's "Printing Out Paper" workshop Saturday and Sunday, March 1 and 2.
