If you could use a few new looks this spring and are a fan of styles seen at local boutiques GROWop, Annie Boomer Vintage, or Cellar Door Vintage on Roosevelt Row, it's time to run to your closet, pick 10 things you'd like to pitch, and take notes.
From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 21, Kelsey Wong and Karla Rasmusson of networking organization CO-OPhx will take over the front lawns of GROWOp, Annie Boomer Vintage, and Cellar Door Vintage on Garfield and Sixth streets with hundreds of used clothes items up for swap.

The essentials: Show up Sunday with up to 10 items you're ready to swap (as well as anything else you're willing to donate), grab a $10 ticket online or pay $15 at the door, and scope out what your fashionable competition is taking and leaving.
Wong says there will be separate men's and women's swap areas, plus four style tutorials for attendees from Amir from Amir La Voute, Ashley Eaton from Merry May Shoppe, Joshua Hahn from GROWop, and Adrian Leisong of Superstition Vintage.
Admission also includes snacks and springtime drinks from Kaleidoscope Juice and Butter and Me Bakery, as well as access to pop-up shops by Brendan McCaskey of Jar of Buttons and Amir Saebi.
At 6 p.m., the group will host an after-party at Scratch & Pallets Food and Bar on Roosevelt and Third streets.
Proceeds from the swap will benefit local charities including Big Brothers Big Sisters, Fresh Start Women's Foundation, Sojourner Center and leftover clothes will be donated to ClothingCycle.
