Presented in part by the AZ Collector's Marketplace, this one-day event of toy collectors and dealers will feature 150 vendors selling everything from comic books to action figures, video games to card games, Legos to Transformers, Pokémon to G.I. Joe -- well, you get the idea.

In addition to the rare and vintage finds up for grabs, the first-ever iCON convention will also feature a panel of experts from the toy community including Mark Ellis, director of marketing for male action toys, games, and novelties for Mattel, Jeff Myers, Hasbro veteran and patent-holder for Remote Controlled (R/C) toys, and Frank Coroneos, G.I. Joe collaborator and former Hasbro toy designer.

There will also be a G.I. Joe vs. Transformers rap battle, a car show for Transformer replicas, a G.I. Joe art exhibition, movie promos, swag giveaways, costume contests, and custom figure contests.

Tickets for iCON are $10 per person and can be purchased online or at the door. Convention hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Children 12 and under get in free with paid adult admission. For more information, including a list of featured vendors, visit
