The Book of Mormon is the Broadway byproduct of South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone as well as Avenue Q co-creator Mark Lopez. Thanks to this trio of notoriously crude creatives, The Book of Mormon has received many laughs, applause, and some obligatory backlash since its 2011 debut -- the same year it won the Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album.

The Book of Mormon tells the tale of two Mormon missionaries, Kevin Price and Arnold Cunningham, who are sent to Uganda in an effort to convert the villagers. Of course, nothing goes as expected for the Utah missionaries once they reach Africa. Between a warlord named General Butt-Fucking Naked who robs them at gunpoint to a chief who fears that the female villagers' clitorises will power up and overthrow him, The Book of Mormon tells a tale unlike anything you've ever seen before.
