Art aficionados have a full schedule tonight thanks to Third Friday. Jackalope Ranch's first-ever curated show, "You Are Here: A Collection of Maps of Phoenix", opens over at Regular Gallery, Steve Hofberger has a new exhibition at monOrchid, eye lounge is hosting its annual benefit show, and art from Mark Mothersbaugh will be on view at Trunk Space.

There's plenty to feast your eyes on, so be sure to check out our handy flow chart for a more comprehensive guide.

Of course, we haven't forgotten that you need stuff to do on Saturday and Sunday -- maybe even an extra Friday option. Below are your five best bets for comedy, theater, and cultural haps this weekend.

Showhibition @ FilmBar
Jacki O. hosts comedy cabaret Showhibition debuts tonight at 10 p.m. with a variety show that promises to be very, erm, varied. There's standup from Upright Citizens Brigade alum Ryan Babcock, and Second City grad Andrew Rollins DeWitt. Provocatease brings their titillating burlesque act, and dance troupe Tap That Ass performs a Halloween-themed jig. Come for the comedy and dancing, stay for the interactive game show and performance art. Tickets are $5.

Locals Only Skateboard Contest @ Desert West Skateboard Plaza
Break in the revamped Desert West with a skating contest for local boarders, with divisions ranging from pee wee to pro. The competition also includes a Pumpkin Carving Deathrace (carving as in leaning one way or another to direct a board), and a free raffle. Register early at any Cowtown Skateboards locations. Entry is free, as well as watching, and the contest starts at 9 a.m. on Saturday.

Grand Avenue Festival @ Grand Avenue Arts District
Explore Grand Avenue's arts district on Saturday from 3 p.m. to 11. Tour commercial buildings, take yourself on a self-guided mural viewing (map here), see recycled fashion creations, and more. Attendees will also be able to get a look at the newly renovated apartment complex Oasis on Grand. Most activities at the fest are free.

Arab American Festival @ Steele Indian School Park
Get a taste of Arabic culture on Saturday and Sunday during the sixth annual Arab American Festival. The two-day fest boasts a lineup of over 35 international dancers, singers, and musicians. Local vendors will hawk their wares. And a hookah lounge and international food court will be open for recharging and relaxing. Admission is $5.

PoeFest @ Soul Invictus
Get into the spooky spirit of Halloween with three performances of fear master Edgar Allan Poe's works on Sunday at 2 p.m. Set in an asylum, the stories include Annabel Lee, The Black Cat, and The Raven. Performances continue through October 31 and are presented by Arizona Centennial Theater. Tickets are $20.
