The Phoestivus Market Brings Local Crafts, Beer, and a Phoestivus Pole to Downtown Phoenix in December

Mark December 5 and 12 on your calendar -- Get Your PHX and Phoenix Public Market are hosting Phoestivus for the rest (or all) of us who need to get a little local gift shopping accomplished in the company of local food vendors and live music

This year's market will be the third annual Phoestivus, which will take over the Public Market parking lot at 14 E. Pierce St.

The festivities go from 4 to 8:00 p.m., and you can keep an eye out for the Phoestivus pole, an airing of grievances, feats of strength, and holiday carolers.

This year, Phoestivus will be host to more than 50 local vendors with handmade goods plus six food trucks and a beer garden with a special Phoestivus Ale by The Phoenix Ale Brewery for serious shopping fuel.

Arts/crafts vendors include: Alley Cat Art Studio, annieWHERE, Bertie's of Arcadia, Black Moon Studio, Emelmahae Soap Co., Hazel and Violet letterpress, Heady Hoop Tribe, Hmong Embroidery, Moderncat Studio, Practical Art, RainShine BookArts, Retro Spectacular, Revera, Sebastien Millon LLC, Steam Crow, and Strawberry Hedgehog (to name a few).

According to Phoestivus organizers, 10 percent of vendor proceeds and 100 percent of the beer garden proceeds will go toward Community Food Connections. Stay tuned for vendor information and volunteer opportunities on the Phoestivus website.
