When you put your key in the ignition and turn on the radio, what station would play right now? KUPD 97.9-FM.

What's the first album you bought? Ride the Lightning, Metallica.

What's the first concert you saw? Metallica, Red Rocks, Morrison, Colorado, And Justice For All tour.

What's your favorite concert you've ever been to? Well, I just saw Foo Fighters at Summerfest in Milwaukee which was pretty kick-ass show. But I am going to have to go with Pearl Jam, Madison Square Garden, 2003. There were two shows there, but the first night was the best. They released a DVD of it, and Ben Harper came out on stage to drink some wine with Eddie Vedder and sang a couple songs. Great show!

What's the last song played on your music player? "Hats off to the Bull," Chevelle.

Preferred format: CD, vinyl, cassette, 8-Track or digital? Preferred would have to be vinyl.

What's your favorite album? Wow, to nail it down to one album is pretty hard, but it has to be something that you could listen to the whole thing without skipping a song. I am going to have to go with Led Zeppelin, Houses of the Holy.

Who is your favorite singer or band? Dave Grohl. He's a pretty amazing musician.

Does you computer track how many times you've played something -- if so, what's at the top of the list? I use Spotify at home to listen to music on my computer. DIRECTV has the Pandora app, and I'll use that if I want to listen to something loud, which is often.

What was your favorite new or new-to-you album from the past year? Foo Fighters, Wasting Light.

What one song would you play if you had a world-wide radio audience? "BYOB," System of a Down.

Who is your favorite local artist? Fat Grey Cat. I worked with Michael Pistrui at Tempe Mission Palms a few years ago. He has been in a couple bands locally. I respect what he can do on stage. They play Hollywood Alley in Tempe quite a bit -- go check em out.

What is your favorite local venue to see music? Comerica Theatre.

What is your favorite music video? To be honest, I'm not into the music videos anymore. But probably my favorite is Gorillaz, "Clint Eastwood."
