DJ Seduce Gives Free Download Off 'Brazil?:?Sambossica 3'

This week's issue of Phoenix New Times features a profile on local DJ Seduce, a.k.a Miguel Ivery, who has been bringing Afro-Brazilian sounds to the Valley for the past five years. Seduce recently released Brazil:Sambossica 3, a compilation of up-and-coming Brazilian artists he wanted to introduce to the rest of the world.

One song, album opener "O Pescador," particularly resonated with Seduce. He says, "From the opening notes and beats of the track, the song pushes straight-ahead samba sound. I felt like it was a great opening song for an album. I felt, for those who love samba, the minute it hits, it will catch your ear, and make you want to dance or groove to it. For those who don't know samba, or Brazilian music, this is a great introduction track to tell someone this is Brazilian music! I felt it really stood for Sambossica the minute I heard it -- it was samba, it was soulful, and it was a great song to really set a tone and mood for the whole album. One of my favorites!"

Preview the track, and get a link for a free download, after the jump.

You can download the song "O Pescador," by Sandalia de Prata, for free here.
