According to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, the gentleman pictured above is 35-year-old Clifton Dawayne Brooks -- the guy the sheriff's office says "threatened to kill" Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
Arpaio and the FBI announced yesterday that the FBI's Portland, Oregon office raided the house Brooks was living in, after it was discovered he was allegedly running a website that glorified killing cops, along with a photo of Arpaio with the words "You're Next, Joe -- watch your back, bitch!" directly above it.
Brooks wasn't arrested Monday when the FBI rolled through, but he has been arrested at least three times, and has been on the receiving end of a Taser blast from cops in the Portland area that was covered by local media.
Brooks was convicted in 2001 of making a bomb threat online, which counts as a federal crime, and has also been arrested on charges criminal mischief and interfering with a peace officer.
Then the feds rolled through his house on a warrant Monday to seize evidence, and the only detail we got about what was inside the home was what Arpaio called "strange items pinned on the wall."
Agents evacuated the house after agents found what they thought was a bomb, but it ended up being some sort of "prop."
Even after the raid, Brooks is apparently still taking to the Internet, as he posted on his Facebook page today that the "Fucking goddamn pigs stole my art portfolio," and informed his friends about the FBI's visit to his place Monday.
He's also posted his feelings about the Westboro Baptist Church on Facebook, twice saying someone should "blow their goddamned church up."
What was allegedly Brooks' website has since been removed by Google's blog service, and Brooks has yet to be charged with any crime in the Arpaio matter.
Arpaio said yesterday the threat was something that "comes with the territory," and added he was happy "in one way" that the threat was made against him, since he was not the least bit pleased with a website dedicated to glorify killing cops.
