Drunk driving is bad.
That said, here's where police will be setting up "saturation patrols" around the Valley, looking for impaired drivers on New Year's Eve:
- Police in Phoenix will have "saturation patrols" based in six different areas around the city.
27th Avenue and Thunderbird Road
22nd Street and Bell Road
19th Avenue and Glendale Avenue
24th Street and Thomas Road
Central Avenue and Elwood Street
27th Avenue and Thomas Road
- The East Valley DUI Task Force will be in Tempe.
- The West Valley DUI Task Force will be in Glendale.
- Salt River police will be patrolling near the reservation's border with Scottsdale.
