Univision Network is heading to Phoenix for its nationwide open auditions tour for the upcoming season of "Nuestra Belleza Latina," a reality show/beauty competition.

The open casting call is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday (January 28) at La Curacao, 7815 W. Thomas Road.

Participants must be female, 18 to 27 years old, fluent in Spanish and, if chosen as a finalist, must be available to reside in Miami during the length of their participation in the program.

Interested candidates also can submit audition videos directly to the show until February 3. The top two finalists of the virtual casting will have the opportunity to participate in the call-back rounds in Miami.

Contestants have to prove to judges they have what it takes to move on to compete for the 2012 "Nuestra Belleza Latina" title, an exclusive Univision Network contract and $250,00 in cash and prizes.

Nastassja Bolívar, winner of the beauty competition's fifth season, will be at the auditions, along with Univision Radio host Everk Sanchez, "El Topo," from La Nueva 105.9 FM.
