5.) Phoenix PD: Man Stole Three AR-15 Rifles From Walmart
Phoenix police say a man was able to steal three AR-15 rifles from a Walmart store by placing them in a cart and wheeling them out of the store.
Daniel Justin Miranda, 46, was arrested yesterday afternoon for stealing the rifles, in part because officers saw him sell one of the rifles in a parking lot adjacent to the Walmart store, according to police

3.) Tom Horne's Office in Free Fall over Allegations of Using Public Office, Staff for Campaign Purposes
Arizona Attorney General Tom Horne's office has been in crisis mode this week over allegations that his staffers have been doing campaign work on the public dime.
First, on Monday, the resignation note of AG staffer and Horne campaign volunteer Sarah Beattie was leaked to the Arizona Capitol Times.
In it she claimed that Horne's office was "not following campaign laws or finance laws," and that her "legal well-being" was at stake.
Then Tuesday night, Channel 12's Brahm Resnik broadcast a video that's been kicking around the Arizona press corps for a couple of weeks, showing AG legislative aide Brett Mecum -- he of Captain America fame -- dropping off a campaign-related complaint to the Arizona Secretary of State's Office.
Now comes the pièce de résistance: On Tuesday, Horne mistakenly responded to a fundraising e-mail from the campaign of his Republican rival Mark Brnovich.

2.) Phoenix Man Accused of Using Craigslist to Find a Horse for Sex Acts
Once again, deputies from the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office have busted someone who went to Craigslist looking for sex with an animal.
This time, a 22-year-old Phoenix man went to the "Missed Connections" section of Craigslist seeking a male horse "on which to commit the act of fellatio," according to the MCSO.

There's going to be a new design for Arizona driver's licenses, starting June 16.
