The now-infamous tale of the Jet Blue flight attendant who quit his job in grand fashion earlier this week didn't occur in Phoenix, or even in Arizona, but that hasn't stopped some area news outlets from trying to turn it into a local story.
We figured we'd follow suit.
If you're unfamiliar with the incident, Steven Slater, a Jet Blue flight attendant, had a brief meltdown after an argument with a passenger. When the plane landed in New York City, Slater used the plane's PA system to curse out the entire cabin.
Then, Slater opened to plane's door, inflated the emergency slide, grabbed a few beers, slid down the slide, and drove home.
KTAR, among others, interviewed Valley flight attendants yesterday to get their take on the incident, but they never asked the important question: will Slater parlay his new-found fame into reality TV?
It seems like the next logical step for someone who's captured the attention of the entire nation with a single act of stupidity, but we want to know what you think: will Slater become the next reality TV stooge?
