A 54-year-old Phoenix woman was arrested early yesterday morning after cops say she ran a guy over and didn't even bother to stop.

Around 4:30 yesterday morning, the 53-year-old male victim, whose identity has not been made public, was riding his bike westbound near 4800 East Van Buren, when he was hit by a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier.

He died at the scene.

The driver of the car, Lora Lynn Muton, didn't find that out until later, because rather than stop and try and help, police say she kept right on drivin'.

Not far from the scene, near 3700 East Van Burne Drive, police caught up with Muton and she was arrested.

Police suspect Muton was impaired at the time of the accident. She's been charged with manslaughter and leaving the scene of a fatal collision.
