A man killed during a shootout at a Phoenix bar early yesterday morning has been identified as 27-year-old Pedro Sanchez Galvan. The man who shot him, however, remains on the loose.
Phoenix police spokesman Sergeant Trent Crump says the investigation into the shooting is ongoing, but, at the moment, there aren't too many witnesses willing to come forward.
About 2:15 a.m. yesterday, a fight broke out in the parking lot of the
Saddle Horn Bar in Phoenix. During the fight, groups on either side of
the parking lot pulled out guns and started shooting.
Galvan was shot and pronounced dead shortly after. Another man, an
unidentified 21-year-old, was also hit, but managed to drive himself to
the hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg.
Crump says there weren't many witnesses who remained at the scene
following the shooting, and no suspect information is available.
Detectives, however, identified a vehicle they believe is related to the
shooting. It's been seized and will be searched for evidence.
Crump says no weapons have been recovered, and a motive for the deadly
shootout has not been determined. He says there were no reports of
fighting inside the bar.
