From noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 7, fans of handmade and small-batch foods can gather at The Newton in Phoenix for an Artisan Food Fair. Local companies such as Fire Lips Hot Sauce, Gilbert Olive Oil, PB Americano, Fluff It Marshmallows, and Mama's Cold Brew — along with others — will have pantry products for sale in the communal event space, The Commons. Night Out for Nepal at Umami
Sunday, June 7

Sunday evening at Umami in Tempe, chef Joshua Pace and his wife will prepare a traditional four-course vegetarian Nepalese meal to benefit those affected by recent earthquakes in Nepal. All proceeds will be donated to Tara Dhatu, through which it will be directly used to provide food, shelter, and care for those in need in Nepal. There will be several opportunities to dine at Umami during the evening, starting at 5 p.m. and recurring at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Seats can be reserved by e-mailing [email protected] Donations start at a minimum $20 per person. 

200th Anniversary of Ramazzotti Celebration at Counter Intuitive

Celebrate the 200th birthday of the amaro Ramazzotti this Sunday at Counter Intuitive — that's right, the bar will be open on Sunday night for those who can never seem to swing by during the bar's limited business hours. From 3 to 6 p.m., celebrants can enjoy cocktails from guest bartenders — no doubt a few of which will include the the birthday booze. Tickets cost $10, which includes two drink tickets. Counter Intuitive is located at 7133 E Stetson Drive #4 in Scottsdale.
