After a week of celebrating our spirit from south of the border, Taco Guild's love affair with tequila will culminate on National Tequila Day this Friday. The excitement will last all day, starting with mariachi band performances from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., drinks by guest bartender Roger Clyne from 4 to 6 p.m., and beats by Allen the DeeJay beginning at 6 p.m. Taco Guild will also be offering a specialty cocktail, the Guild Peacemaker, which will include Roger Clyne's Mexican Moonshine tequila, and tacos wrapped in red, white, and green tortillas. 2015 Ripe Culinary Fest + Awards Celebration

On Saturday evening, Phoenix Art Museum will play host to this year's Ripe Culinary Fest and Awards Celebration. Winners include Chefs Scott Holmes (Little Miss BBQ), Lori Hashimoto (Hana Japanese Eatery), Cullen Campbell (Crudo), Stephen Jones (Yard Bird + Larder), Jeff Kraus (Crepe Bar), and Ross Simon (Bitter & Twisted). Starting at 7 p.m., attendees can taste signature dishes from the winning chefs, as well as wine, beer, and cocktails. Tickets cost $55 per person and are available for purchase online. Proceeds from the event will go to support arts programming at Phoenix Art Museum.
Summer Bites Menu at Little Cleo's at The Yard

Little Cleo's Seafood Legend is helping Valley residents chill out with a Summer Bites Menu. For $35 per person (plus an optional $15 for wine pairings), guests can create a four-course menu, selecting from dishes that include chilled seafood, grilled octopus, grilled ahi tuna, and seasonal sorbet for dessert.
