44. Carne Adovada Enchiladas at Los Dos Molinos

If you're going to go to Los Dos Molinos, make sure you make the drive to the location down in South Phoenix. It's worth the extra mileage from where you be might be coming because this adobe restaurant, tucked up against South Mountain, is big on charm — and on flavor. 

Known for serving some of the hottest food in Phoenix, Los Dos Molinos specializes in New Mexican-style fare that's heavy on the chiles. You can have nearly everything on the Los Dos menu smothered in red or green chile that's spiced with New Mexican red chiles and Hatch Valley green chiles, respectively. 

When it comes to entrées, one of the most popular is the carne adovada, a dish that features marinated pork that's spicy and succulent. Some people prefer their adovada as ribs or wrapped up in a large burrito — but if you ask me you should at least try the pork served in an open-faced enchilada. This way you get your meat covered in chile but also tucked up under a perfectly fried egg.
