Don't freak out, but we have good news. New York City's famed The Halal Guys are expanding to Arizona, according to a press release.

The restaurant (originally a cart on 53rd Street and Sixth Avenue in Manhattan) serves gyro meat, falafel, and chicken either in a platter or wrapped up in pita bread. Platters are served on a bed of orange rice, then topped with meat, lettuce, pita, and tomato.

Diners have the option to douse a platter with any number of sauces. Many fans swear by the spot's white sauce, which is tangy like ranch dressing but a little thicker, and if you think your platter needs a kick, you can go for a spicy red sauce. Some outliers opt for barbecue sauce.

If you've never experienced The Halal Guys fare, just know that the spot's massive following in New York often leads to lines that can snake around the block.

There's no word yet on where the new restaurant will open or if it will be in the metro Phoenix area. The franchise has already expanded to Houston, Southern California, and Chicago.
