The Valley is getting ready to celebrate America's 240th birthday with festivities all around. And what would our celebrations of freedom be if they didn't involve a spectacular fireworks display? Lucky for us, there are plenty of options. Whether you spend the Fourth of July with your family, friends, or solo, here is a guide to where you'll find fireworks over Fourth of July weekend in metro Phoenix. 

Scottsdale Independence Day Celebration at WestWorld
Spend the afternoon of Saturday, July 2, at the 300,000-square-foot equestrian arena, WestWorld. General admission includes a fireworks viewing, live musical entertainment, a Star Wars area, Olympic Village games, a petting zoo, and a kids zone. Admission is $12. VIP tickets are $35 for adults and $20 for kids. The event runs from 3 to 9:30 p.m. If you're only interested in seeing fireworks, viewing is available at the Polo Field gates. Westgate Firework Fest 
Wear your best red, white, and blue garments at the Westgate Entertainment District. Thousands gather every year for live music, food, activities for the whole family, and an open-air beer garden. July Fourth Tempe Town Lake Festival 
Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to the 65th Annual Fireworks Spectacular presented by the Kiwanis Club of Tempe at Tempe Beach Park. Enjoy the longstanding tradition with live music, inflatable mazes and jumpers, rock climbing, a beer garden, and food. Fireworks will be launched from the Mill Avenue Bridge at 9:15 p.m. Gates open at 5 p.m. General admission tickets are $5. Children 12 and under get in free, as do attendees with active military IDs. Tempe Center for the Arts Fourth of July Celebration
If you're in the mood for wearing a fancy dress and drinking a cocktail while you watch the Fourth of July fireworks, then Tempe Center for the Arts is the place to be. Enjoy air-conditioned comfort with food and refreshments. General admission tickets are $15 and VIP tickets, which include rooftop access to view fireworks, are $25. Fourth of Zooly
Phoenix Zoo hosts its annual Independence Day celebration with a barbecue, free carousel rides, special animal guest appearances, inflatables, live entertainment, and a special view of the Tempe Town Lake Fireworks Spectacular show. Arizona Celebration of Freedom
Billed the “coolest” Independence Day Festival in the state, Arizona Celebration of Freedom brings an evening of events including historical flag presentations, live music, Revolutionary War re-enactment, an arts and culture showcase, a naturalization ceremony, and a military showcase. Kids can enjoy a splash zone, inflatables, and carnival-style games. The event is free and open to the public. Food and drinks are available for purchase. Peoria’s All American Festival
Celebrate America’s independence at the Peoria Sports Complex with an evening full of entertainment. Fourth of July Cave Creek Fireworks & Food Trucks Extravaganza
Embrace your patriotism sitting right below the Cave Creek fireworks show. The event runs from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. at 6424 East Cave Creek Road. Expect gourmet food trucks, live music, water rides, a kids zone, and a beer garden. General admission tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for kids. VIP tables are available upon reservation. Fabulous Phoenix Fourth
Steele Indian School Park is once again the host of the largest fireworks show in the Southwest. The 31st annual Fabulous Phoenix Fourth features music, festival-style food, arts and crafts, a classic car display, interactive exhibits, and of course, fireworks. Kids activities include inflatables and a spray zone. The event is free and open to the public. The fun starts at 6 p.m., and the fireworks are launched at 9:30. Celebrate Independence Day at Tumbleweed Park in Chandler. Don’t forget to bring your blankets, chairs, and sunscreen for an afternoon with music and live entertainment. Fourth at the Fountain
Spend your Fourth of July evening at one of the tallest fountains in the world. The celebration kicks off at 6 p.m. at Fountain Park. Surprise Annual Fourth of July Celebration

Take your family out to a ball game and stick around for the magnificent fireworks display. The City of Surprise is hosting its 33rd annual Fourth of July celebration at the Surprise Stadium with a rookie league game. Admission is free with a canned food donation. Be there early; the event is limited to the first 10,000 fans. Gates open at 4:30 p.m., and the game starts at 5:30. The fireworks will start at 8:30. Chase Field
A baseball game and Fourth of July fireworks? Sounds like the perfect evening for Arizona Diamondbacks fans. The D-backs will host the Padres at 6:40 p.m. on Monday, July 4. Tailgating games start at 5 p.m., and the first 20,000 fans through the gate will receive a commemorative T-shirt. After the game, Chase Field’s roof will open for a spectacular fireworks display.
