Do Good and Have Fun at PHX Renews

For once Bud Light would like you to make some good decisions, by hosting community events across the country with Keep America Beautiful in the Do Good and Have Fun summer campaign. On Thursday, May 17, from 8:45 a.m. to 1 p.m., join other 21-and-up locals as they build community gardens, clean up litter, and fix up up the vacant lot at the PHX Renews site at Central Ave. Register for Do Good and Have Fun online and check out the event on Facebook.

Artistry Workshop: Mason Jars

Glendale Foothills Library is teaching visitors how to turn mason jars into three-dimensional scrapbooks, a.k.a. "memory jars," using colorful paper, ribbons, buttons, photos, handwritten notes, and more. This class is taught by Christy Puetz on Wednesday, May 14, at 6 p.m. in the Hummingbird Room. Vintage by Misty's Spring Trunk Show

Vintage by Misty is holding a special spring trunk show featuring champagne, french tunes, and plenty of designer duds. Browse the new collection of Lela Pearce swimwear, vintage Levi's, and Adina Mills wearable art, as well as VBM's signature line of Chanel button jewelry and new retro pieces from the 1960s through 1980s.
