Wednesday edutalk: Work-Life Balance: Reality? Or Unicorn?
Can entrepreneurs really have their cake and eat it, too? Co+Hoots would like to think so. For the next installment the co-working space's reoccurring edutalk series, marketing consultant Alan Earl is visiting the downtown office to discuss the fundamentals of finding success without letting go of some of the more important aspects of life, like living it. Caffeine Corridor Poetry Series feat. Jon Riccio & Kelly Nelson
Join Bill Campana, Jack Evans, and Shawnte Orion as they host and evening of sounds and sonnets with the Caffeine Corridor Poetry Series at {9} The Gallery. The evening will allow aspiring poets to read their words aloud as well as hear works by featured poets Kelly Nelson, author of Rivers I Don't Live By, and Jon Riccio, a literary creative whose works have appeared in such publications as CutBank, Paper Nautilus, and Four Chambers. Third Sunday Game Day
Sunday is a day of rest. Unless you're a Scrabble master, in which case it's time to show everyone who's boss. Firehouse Gallery is inviting tile counters of all skill levels to stop by the art collective for an evening of social gaming. Third Sunday Game Day returns from 2 to 5 p.m. on March 15 and will give guests a chance to meet, greet, and get to know each over a variety of board games.
