It's pretty safe to say that you can't believe everything you read online. For instance, a few websites claim that Arizona has some cockamamie law banning -- of all things -- the act of singing in public places while wearing a swimsuit.

Good thing it's complete B.S. (we checked), which means you needn't fear singing along to any of the tunes being spun up poolside while showing off your brand new bathing suit at one of the must-attend pool parties happening this spring.

Splash Bash Wyndham Gardens Phoenix Midtown Friday, April 4

A helluva lot of LGBT-centric celebrations are scheduled to transpire during Phoenix Pride over the next 10 days, not the least of which is this lively and well-attended annual affair. Commencing at noon, it will feature eight straight hours of fun in and around the hotel's pool area, including multiple vendors, performances by strippers, open play beach volleyball, dancing, and more. DJ Pornstar and DJ Urban will provide the soundtrack and QTalk America personality Clayton McKee hosts the event. Admission is free before 1 p.m. and $10 thereafter.

Release Talking Stick Resort Saturdays and Sundays through September

Big changes are afoot for Talking Stick's weekend pool party series this year. Firstly, it's kicking off a month earlier on Saturday, April 5, and will now encompass a new "lounge pool" in close proximity to the resort's stylish swimming pool. Coupled with variety of extra cabanas and canopy daybeds have been added in the off-season, it means there will be twice the swimsuit-clad bodies to admire. A new stage will host a roster of guest DJs from Las Vegas and L.A., poolside, promos and giveaways will be handed out, and drink specials will be available. The parties run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Admission is free.

David Guetta Maya Day & Nightclub April 6

Considering the fact he has more than 14.5 million followers on Twitter, countless sold-out shows under his belt, and name recognition with even the most casual of EDM fans, it's a safe bet that David Guetta's upcoming gig at Maya will be well attended. In other words, if you have any hope of claiming a spot in the club's pool (which will be open for dipping and diving) during his set on the outdoor stage, better get there early to avoid the inevitable line. Or, if you've got the means, try springing for the $200 VIP package, which includes bypassing the masses and getting access to the private bar behind the DJ booth. Just remember to refrain from asking for an autograph, since he'll be busy slinging beats. General admission is $75.

Saturday Splash W Hotel Scottsdale Saturdays through April 12

Everything you could possibly want in a swim party will be apart of the W's new weekly Saturday afternoon event that launches in mid-April: smooth beats laid down from the DJ booth, posh hangouts in one of its many cabanas or the nearby Shade Lounge, top-shelf cocktails courtesy of two bars, and a well-heeled crowd to check out. If the people watching grows tiresome, the second floor WET Deck offers killer views. Hours are from noon until 5 p.m. Call 480-970-2101 for admission info, VIP access, and cabana rentals.

Wet Electric Big Surf Waterpark Saturday, April 26

Most swim soirées around town take place around a single pool. This combination EDM massive, pool party, and bikini bash will do you one better, however, as it will encompass the entirety of Big Surf. The waterslides will be running during Wet Electric, while thousands will wade into the wave pool to splash and dance to the electronic sounds produced by more than a dozen DJs on a nearby stage. Multiple bars will sling adult beverages and VIP cabanas are available. Gates open at noon. Admission is $25-$75. And if you aren't burnt out from the sun and fun, an official after-party is scheduled for Sunday, April 27, at Talking Stick Resort.
