AZ on the Rocks 10 Year Anniversary Party

AZ on the Rocks is turning 10 this Saturday, and to celebrate, it's offering all visitors a free day of on-the-wall recreation. Stop by the indoor rock gym anytime between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. on January 18 and enjoy a day of free rock climbing as well as grab bags, prizes, zip line contests, a free morning yoga class, free boxing sessions, and more. Free Fitness Series at Westgate

Westgate is getting Glendale into top shape with free fitness classes happening every other Saturday on January 18, February 1, February 15, and March 1 at WaterDance Plaza. These all-ages classes are led by certified instructors and feature workouts like INSANITY®, R.I.P.P.E.D®, and Hip Hop Hustle®. Each class is one hour long, with two separate classes offered at 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. For a look at the full schedule, visit Westgate online.

Fit City Scottsdale Expo

The Fit City Scottsdale Expo is coming to Scottsdale Community College and, along with the fitness booths, demos, food, and prizes, this free event will also set out to break the Guinness World Record for the largest Zumba class. Bring your best dance attire to Scottsdale Community College Saturday, January 25. The expo runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with the free Zumba class starting at 1 p.m. You must register between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. at the Expo to participate in the class. Community Yoga Project

The Lincoln Family Downtown YMCA is doing its part to help you with your number one remodel task: you. Join the YMCA from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at Civic Space Park for a free Ashtanga yoga class. The Community Yoga Project is an ongoing free class series happening every Saturday. For more information, visit the City of Phoenix online.

Valley Ho Free Flow

Get your "om" on at the OH pool and Valley Ho Ballroom as the Hotel Valley Ho hosts its seasonal outdoor flow class. This free yoga series, led by certified instructors from Lululemon Athletica, lets hotel guests and the general public bend, stretch, and strengthen their bodies around one of Scottsdale's favorite resort pools or inside the historic ballroom, depending on the hotel's other seasonal events. Interested class participants should bring their own mats, towels, and water. Classes are held every Wednesday in the ballroom through the month of January. Fitness at the Flour Mill

And old building gets new life as weekly fitness classes return February 1 to The Green at Hayden Flour Mill. Every class starts at 5:30 p.m. The schedule runs as follows: Monday Bootcamp with CJ, Tuesday Yoga with Yoga to the People, Wednesday Zumba, and Thursday Hoops.These classes are available by donation only; so consider throwing in some good karma with your New Year's resolutions and contributing. Free Water Fitness at Kiwanis Recreation Center

The Tempe Kiwanis Recreation Center offers some underwater inventive to get your body into gear. Through the month of January, adults 18 and older can drop in to any of the Shallow Water or Transitional Deep Water exercise classes. The Shallow Water exercise classes are held at 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, 8:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 9 a.m. on Saturdays. The Transitional Deep Water class is offered Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:40 p.m. For more information, visit the City of Tempe online.
