As the artsy sibling of our fellow Phoenix New Times blogs,

we run into some of the coolest and most talented folks in town. While Chow

Bella brings you "100

Favorite Dishes," in honor of Best of Phoenix -- which is just a summer away, expect it on news stands and computer screens near you September 30 -- Jackalope Ranch proudly presents "100 Creatives."

The Creatives are the cultured superheroes -- and heroines -- of metropolitan Phoenix. Have a suggestion for someone you'd like to see? Leave it in the comment section. Maybe we'll convince your favorite Creative to do a fly-by with us.

96: Adam Dumper, aka Dumperfoo

Adam Dumper's heavily involved in the local hip-hop, art, and social scene, but is best known for his live art performances -- he paints several paintings in a evening, or one in an hour-long set for a live audience. He currently performs with local hip hop bands such as Drunken Immortals, Crusher Sound System and The Insects. He's also featured in the 5&6 Gallery in Scottsdale and The Yucca Tap Gallery and is a contributor to the longest-running hip-hop night in the valley, The Blunt Club.

List five things on your Inspiration Wall (real or imagined).
I'm picturing a beach with umbrella drinks, my own gallery/retail shop, touring the world with my bands, marrying my girlfriend and, doing art for a living.

What was your last big project?
I rocked live art at Snoop Dogg's house on Snoop Dogg Fatherhood and the show Man Caves. That was a trip!

What's your next big project?
I got a few tours coming up' with Drunken Immortals & The Insects. I'll also have an event called "Group Therapy" on July 3 at 5&6 gallery in Old Town Scottsdale with Baron Gordon, Dan Diaz, Joshua Rhodes, Jason Pena, and Banding Hendrix.

How much do you hate being asked what your next big project is?
I don't mind it at all, at least you are asking!

What's something you want Phoenix to know about you?
I'm proud to be a artist outta Arizona! There are many talented people here.

The Creatives, so far:

100. Fausto Fernandez
99. Brian Boner
98. Carol Panaro-Smith
97. Jane Reddin
