Kara Rice and Allison Young consider themselves fitness matchmakers. The two friends have each made a career of working out -- Young as a health and fitness writer and Rice as an occupational therapist and Pilates instructor. They know the difficulty of finding both a gym you love, and gym you can make time for.
That's why they've created FIT[tbd], a new service that partners with different fitness studios through the Valley and streamlines them into a single gym membership.

No longer confined to the class schedule of a single studio, members of FIT[tbd] can access a network of more than 19 different boutique gyms including Karve, The Dailey Method, Bodi, Studio Mixx, Amenzone, Title Boxing Club, Remedy PM, The Pilates Club, True Hot Yoga, Urban Yoga, and Floo-id Yoga.
FIT[tbd] is set on partnering only with smaller businesses in part because "it's hard for them to get the word out," Young says. "We wanted to promote the smaller places that I would say have the best classes, really niche classes that you won't find anywhere else."
Through this blending of boutique gyms, FIT[tbd] members can choose from an expansive, all-in-one list of classes in the style of yoga, Pilates, barre, interval, or spin.
"I firmly believe that mixing up your workout is the best way to see results," says Young, who, along with Rice, spent last summer sampling the majority of the boutique gyms in Phoenix and Scottsdale before making their final selections.
"I think New York and Los Angeles get all the hype for being amazing fitness towns, but Phoenix has amazing trainers and instructors, and we just really want to celebrate that."
FIT[tbd] launched on January 1 with plans starting as low as $64. For more information, or to purchase yours, visit fittbd.com.
