If you're a fashion student (high school senior or currently enrolled in a two- or four-year college fashion-based program), Phoenix Fashion Week is now accepting applications for its third annual Inspire Fashion' T-shirt design contest. The winning sketch will be produced and made available online, at Phoenix Fashion Week's Style Villa Marketplace October 3 through 5, and at all Cabana Modern Apartment Homes' properties throughout the Valley.

This is the first year Cabana Modern Apartment Homes (of Scottsdale-based Deco Communities) is partnering with PFW on its T-shirt design contest, although the companies first partnered together for PFW's Log-In Lounge at its MIM Rocks Fashion Show back in March. Cabana will be sponsoring the Log-In Lounge at Phoenix Fashion Week, which is setup for bloggers and media.
In addition to the winning design getting produced on t-shirts that will be available at the marketplace and Cabana properties, the design may be selected as part of a multi-million dollar Cabana Modern Apartments marketing campaign across the Valley and in Las Vegas, as well as in future Phoenix Fashion Week and other affiliated sponsors and partners advertising and marketing campaigns.
"This contest gives an opportunity for students who are just entering the fashion industry a way to showcase their designs to the public and the industry at large," says Ashley Cooper, last year's Inspire Fashion contest winner.
The winner will also receive a $1,000 scholarship that will be applied to his or her next semester.
"The Inspire Fashion T-Shirt Scholarship is very important to our overall spotlight on the important of local students being able to further their fashion educations," says Brian Hill, Phoenix Fashion Week executive director
Get your creative juices flowing quickly though; designs are due by Friday, September 6. Students may submit a computer graphic of the design, or a finished sample T-shirt. The design are it must incorporate the Phoenix Fashion Week name or logo.
