Locally-based Internet shops upgrading to brick-and-mortar digs just might be the next big fashion trend.

Last year we saw e-Bay favorite Meat Market Vintage open shop on Mill Avenue. Now, Etsy stores Ouma and Mignonne Handmade have opened Cleo & Clementine in the space next to Melrose Pharmacy that was formerly occupied by Blueberry Deluxe -- another boutique that went from online to IRL, but ended up back in the digi realm.

With Ouma owner Monique Martinez-Sandoval and Jennifer Wood of Mignonne Handmade at the helm, the boutique (which houses the designers' studio space in the back) will fill the Valley's very-empty indie bridal void with handcrafted dresses starting around $100, headpieces from $22, and ethereal accessories.

Not only are nuptials-preppers catered to, but Cleo & Clementine also carries party dresses, casual accessories, including fun stuff from Leah Goren, and everyday jewelry.

The duo will celebrate their new venture with a grand opening celebration on Friday, October 19, at 704 W. Montecito Ave. from 6 to 10 p.m. with music, wine, complimentary photos at a mini portrait studio, and crème brûlée from Torched Goodness.

The boutique is open Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Call 602-264-4848 or visit www.cleoandclementine.com.
