Now in its seventh year, Dancing with the Bars is a chance for Valley bartenders, bar owners, and bold personalities in the LGBT community to strut their stuff on stage in a competition for the best moves (in the vein of Dancing With the Stars). Each featured dancer represents a different local bar and trains ahead of time with professional dance instructors before debuting their grand performance in front of a live audience.

Leading up to the finale performance of Dancing with the Bars 2014 on Sunday, July 27, at Celebrity Theatre, Sway Events is hosting ShowTime at The Bar, a weekly series of performances The Bar on Central to showcase the DWTB 2014 cast.

Representing Charlie's on Thursday, June 26, is Carlton Thompson, followed by Bliss ReBAR's Missy Jessup on Thursday, July 3, Bar on Central's Matt Stanley on Thursday, July 10, and Cash Inn Country's Nate Whitten on Thursday, July 17.

Each ShowTime at The Bar happens at 10 p.m. is free of cover, and features $5 Smirnoff martinis. Tickets for the Dancing with the Bars 6 p.m. finale at Celebrity Theatre are $25 for general admission and $40 for VIP seating and pre-party access.
