The Tony Award-winning, wildly popular, smash-hit musical Dear Evan Hansen arrives at ASU Gammage tonight.
If you don't have your tickets yet, we've got some bad news and some good news. The bad news is that tickets are sold out, and prices on StubHub and other reseller sites are exorbitant, to say the least.
But here's some good news: There's a digital ticket lottery going on, and you could win the chance to buy tickets at bargain-basement prices.
Go to luckyseat.com/dearevanhansen to start the process. Fill out the form, and you're entered to hit the Dear Evan Hansen jackpot. If you're selected, you can purchase up to two tickets at $25 each. The digital lottery will begin accepting entries 48 hours prior to the first performance in each tour city and will be accepted until 9 a.m. Arizona time the day before the performance. Fans who have been selected will be notified daily via email. The ticket lottery will continue on a rolling basis for every performance in the engagement, which runs through Sunday, December 2.
Dear Evan Hansen was the fastest-selling show in Gammage history, according to the venue. The original Broadway production won six Tony Awards, including Best Musical. It tells the story of an awkward teenager whose life is changed when he's caught in a lie that brings him closer to the family of a deceased classmate.
May the odds be ever in your favor.
Dear Evan Hansen. November 27 through December 2. ASU Gammage, 1200 South Forest Avenue, Tempe; asugammage.com. Sold out.
