Elizabeth Rossi has a dream job a lot of fashion-forward females would die kill for: she's a personal shopper at Barneys New York.
And because she's constantly pairing customers with outfits, shoppers with handbags, and Barneys regulars with the latest must-haves, she knows how to shop like a pro.
Rossi grew up in New York, started her career as an assistant buyer, and insists that when it comes to putting together a closet, you don't have to just stick to designer names like Diane von Furstenberg (her fashion favorite).
She knows that it's not about who made it, but how you wear it, and she's not opposed to mixing and matching high-price pieces and low-cost bargains.

Always try to shop with a purpose -- don't just shop for sake of shopping. Also, if you do not love it at that moment, do not buy it!

Growing up I was very 'girly' and loved wearing dresses with matching hair ribbons (still an integral part of my personal style - dress part that is!).
