Kiss of the Damned @ Harkins Scottsdale 101 There are a few reasons Kiss of the Damned is on our must-see list. It's directed by Xan Cassavetes, daughter of John Cassavetes and Gena Rowlands. Milo Ventimiglia (a.k.a. Rory Gilmore's soulmate) is in it, as is model/royal pain in Blair Waldorf's ass Roxane Mesquida. In case none of that matters to you, here are three words: sexy, vampire, thriller. Sold? Thought so.

Kiss screens as part of the International Horror and Sci-Fi Film Festival at Harkins Scottsdale 101 on Friday, April 4, at 10 p.m. and Tuesday, April 9, at 9 p.m. Single screening tickets are $12, and festival passes cost up to $300.The Kings of Summer @ Harkins Scottsdale 101 Welp, not every Disney star in the process of growing up and out from under the Mouse's shadow appears in Spring Breakers. Instead Moises Arias (Hannah Montana) stars alongside Alison Brie (Community), Nick Offerman (Parks & Recreation), and Megan Mullally (Will & Grace) in coming-of-age comedy The Kings of Summer, which premièred at Sundance. Catch the flick at Phoenix Film Festival at 7:40 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, at Harkins Scottsdale 101. Single screening tickets are $12, and festival passes cost up to $300.Phoenix: City of the Future @ FilmBar In conjunction with Phoenix Urban Design Week, FilmBar hosts a 6:30 p.m. screening on Monday, April 8, of Robert Kilman and Safwat Saleem's Phoenix: City of the Future, which is about a has-been soap star attempting to lure artsy folks to Phoenix. Admission is free. A panel discussion featuring the co-directors, Jenny Poon of CO+HOOTS, and others.Paolo Soleri: Beyond Form @ Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts Director Aimee Madsen looks at the life and work of architect, artist, and craftsman Paolo Soleri in her new documentary. The film screens at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 20, at Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts in conjunction with SMoCA's exhibition "Paolo Soleri: Mesa City to Arcosanti" and the Modern Phoenix Expo. Following the film will be a discussion with Madsen and a guided tour of the exhibition. Tickets are $7.From Russia with Love @ Biltmore Fashion Park If you're anything like us, you've watched and re-watched Archer so many times that you've forgotten it's rooted in early James Bond films. For a refresher course in 007, head to Biltmore Fashion Park's free outdoor screening of From Russia with Love at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 26.
