Gateway at Tempe Pool Party, 4/13/13 A day of wet and wild fun in the sun took place in and around the pool of the Gateway at Tempe apartment complex on Saturday, April 13. As DJ Ice Man of Valley radio station 101.5 Jamz kept the party primed with sizzling beats of the Top 40 and EDM variety, ASU students and other college-aged kids spent the afternoon battled in water volleyball matches, got into splash fights, took a dip, or just lounged around and soaked up the solar rays. There were also hot wing-eating contests, prize raffles, swimming shenanigans, and plenty pizza and soda pop on hand (as the event was strictly a non-alcoholic affair).
