Just a skip away from Mill Avenue and ASU's Tempe campus, Here on the Corner's Tempe roots have been firmly planted for the past 8 years.

The locally owned women's fashion boutique (and sorority girl haven) will host its first fall fashion preview to celebrate its history and keep Tempe dwellers on trend.

The preview will feature a live DJ, giveaways, and store discounts on top of the already budget-friendly pricing.

Expect '80s looks (think Poison music videos) and '90s florals currently beloved by the likes of Chloe Sevigny -- both complementary to the '80s and indie-pop soundtrack in the store.

Accessories dominate side tables, shelves and hooks with stacks of bangles, drippy necklaces, scarves, and trendy cocktail rings. And If that's not your bag, you can support local designers Jennifer Paige, Laura Leigh Designs, Dazed by Shae and Angry Gurl who all have accessories up for grabs.

Co-owner Sharla Hartgraves says she hopes the party will lead to more community events such as "Manicure Mondays," where customers can come in for a free polish change, and philanthropic work with campus sororities and clubs.

Here on the Corner is located at 714 S. College Ave. in Tempe. It's open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The launch party lasts all day during business hours.
