Meat Market Vintage owner Ben Funke announced via Facebook on Saturday, March 1, that his shop, known for its cheeky throwback T-shirts and offbeat casual style, will shutter its Mill Avenue storefront where it's operated for the past two years.
While Meat Market will say farewell to its first-ever brick-and-mortar location come April, it's not exactly goodbye for the boutique.

At the end of March, Meat Market will consolidate its inventory and move a few miles south to Double Nickels Collective at Southern and Mill avenues.
"We plan to offer the same handpicked and high-quality men's and women's vintage clothing that you found at our Mill Avenue shop," Funke wrote. "Plus, at our new location, you will be able to browse an awesome selection of vinyl, comics, and audio equipment all under one roof (also nearby access to smoke shops, pot doctors, and strip mall churches if you need any of those things!)."
To pare down the store's stock in preparation for the move, Meat Market has launched a 20-percent-off sale for the duration of March.
"While there is definitely some sadness in leaving the Mill Avenue location, we are very excited to be joining forces with the Double Nickels Collective and the amazing group of people who operate there," Funke added.
