Hola, Hollywood. Phoenix College's 14th Annual Latino Film Festival will include six movies that explore the complexities of Latin cultures in communities across the United States and South America. The festival, which offers six days of independent and documentary screenings, is open to students and the general public alike. Perhaps best of all, it's absolutely free.

The Phoenix College Latino Film Festival kicks off today at Civic Space Park's A.E. England Building with a 7 p.m. screening of El Barrio Tours: Gentrification in Spanish Harlem .
On Wednesday, April 30, the festival will continue at the Phoenix College Dome Conference Room with a 7 p.m. screening of Las Marthas. Then, on Thursday, May 1, the fest heads back to the A.E. England Building for a 7 p.m. screening of the Colombian film, El vuelco del cangrejo (Crab Trap).
Capping off the festival's activities will be a 7 p.m. screening of El diario de Agustín (Agustín's Newspaper) in the A.E. building on Friday, May 2, followed by two screenings on Saturday, May 3: The Immigration Paradox at 2 p.m. inside the Phoenix College Dome Conference Room and En busca de . . . (Looking for . . .) at 7 p.m. inside the A. E. Building.
