That's right. We have our very own pack of Silly Bandz (and we're giving 'em away after the jump). After countless calls to toy stores around the Valley, it sounds like truckloads of these things are on their way.

But not yet.

Unfortunately, it's a little difficult for the easily amused tweens and their parents to wait for the anticipated arrival. Our source at Smeeks says he answers handfuls of Silly Bandz calls each day and keeps a list of customers to call when the bands (hopefully) arrive later this week.

The bright rubber bands that decorate wrists (and leave teachers pissed) are featured in youtube videos, facebook fan groups and are now banned from classrooms in Texas, New York, Massachussets, Florida, Alabama, and Rhode Island.

Here's our running list of Valley locations that expect to have Silly Bandz in within the next few days. It's recommended to call ahead and pack a helmet if you plan to be one of the first people to snatch a $5 box -- things could get ugly.
