Autograph Collection Hotels opens its first Phoenix property, The Camby, in December 2015. Marriott International owns the Autograph chain, which includes more than 100 properties around the world, but individual hotels are independently operated. Host Hotels & Resorts is behind the Phoenix hotel.

Located at the corner of Camelback Mountain at 24th Street and Camelback Road in the former location of the Ritz-Carlton Phoenix hotel, The Camby will have 277 rooms and include contemporary design elements from Stonewall & Taylor that incorporate Arizona's five C's (cattle, copper, citrus, climate, and cotton), with West Elm-esque furnishings.

Also on deck for the new spot are a rooftop pool, a spa, fitness center, and more than 20,000 square feet of meeting space.

“We’re proud to announce the opening of The Camby Hotel and look forward to welcoming out-of-town visitors and locals to our luxury lifestyle hotel,” Greg Miller (whose title is "chief inspiration officer") says in a prepared statement. “In addition to stunning design details found throughout the hotel, we’ve thoughtfully amplified the dining, fitness, and wellness offerings for travelers and Phoenicians to enjoy.”

The hotel will accept reservations starting this November. For more information, call 602-468-0700.
