Fiesta Grill

Attached to Pro’s Ranch Market on 16th and Roosevelt Streets in Phoenix (in the former home of Tradiciones), Fiesta Grill serves Mexican dishes prepared with fresh ingredients, including juicy meats charred on a giant mesquite grill. About to walk in to the grocery store famished? It’s a good idea to stop here to fill up before you shop at the superstore next door. The menu is graced with familiar dishes like tacos with shrimp in jalapeño butter, chile relleno, spinach-mushroom enchiladas, grilled steak fajitas, and roasted pork burritos. But then there’s a twist. Thanks to owner Sam Lee, who hails from Korea, the restaurant also serves Mexican-Korean fusion such as faintly sweet bulgogi (marinated barbecued beef) tacos and kalbi (marinated short ribs) with kimchi. The space also has several TVs, and it can be turned into a banquet hall complete with big buffet to be rented out for parties or events.
