Krua Thai

A satisfying, cozy Thai café on the city’s north side, Krua ("kitchen" in Thai) serves up nearly 80 menu items of traditional dishes as well as several more uncommon specialties. Some of the flavors are more cautious than you might prefer, but you can depend on the meats to be tender, the vegetables fresh, and the dishes well prepared. Creations such as Thai sausage salad (yum guhn chiang), duck curry, and nam prik phao, Krua’s earthy and spicy housemade chili paste heavy with tender pieces of pork, are standouts.
