For a quarter century, this ritzy (but never snooty!) restaurant has been serving locals the best in authentic Italian and Sicilian grub. Fans of the place have made it part of their routine because the owner, Chef Giovanni Lo Cascio, not only prepares the best lasagna in town, but also because he seems always to remember everyone who's ever dined in his establishment. Customers feel like part of the Lo Cascio family, and they eat like one, too. Who can blame them, with such mouth-watering appetizers as Cozze Marina (clams on the half shell in a spicy red sauce) followed by a plateful of Linguini Puttanesca? Favorites include Penne all Arrabbiata, a spicy marina dish with fresh mushrooms and loads of garlic, and the homemade potato-and-flour gnocchi, served with a sauce of your choice. Bravisimo!
